Optimism is Essential
Choose to be optimistic. It feels better.

Greetings to all my precious people!!
Late May and early June is my favorite time of year. The temperature is comfortable, all of Nature is in bloom, and the extended sunlight hours add to a feeling of uplift and optimism. The school year is winding down, and vacation plans are being put into action. There is a lightness of being, especially when the sun is shining brightly in the blue skies. But there is also trouble brewing on multiple levels and sometimes it is hard to ignore. Financial stress, political turmoil, family life uproars and health challenges abound for so many of us, and these facts cannot be easily remedied. This is when the little voice inside my head begins an incessant song of “the sky is falling, the sky is falling” and my neural pathways default to worry and anxiety. Maybe you can relate! continue reading
Permission is Granted
“Perhaps the most important thing we bring to another person is the silence in us,
not the sort of silence that is filled with unspoken criticism or hard withdrawal.
The sort of silence that is a place of refuge, of rest,
of acceptance of someone as they are.”
~~ Rachel Naomi Remen
Greetings to all my precious people!
We are on the cusp of Summer as the week of the Full Flower Moon unfolds with radiance and the promise of transformation on so many levels. This Full Moon pays tribute to the abundance of colorful, new blooms that blossom during this time of the year. The Flower Moon will have a golden appearance while it rises in the east and later fades to white as it moves through the galaxy overhead. Check it out via this link from Space.com: Full Flower Moon. continue reading
Curiosity is your Catalyst
“I am neither especially clever, nor especially gifted.
I am only very, very curious.”

Greetings to all my precious people!!
How are you feeling these days? So many people are reporting upper respiratory symptoms of sneezing, nasal congestion, hoarseness and headaches that we typically associate with allergies. Our bodies are being exposed to the seasonal forces of wind and rain that stir up the pollen, pathogens and viruses known to circulate in early Spring. While we might be well versed in the seasonal patterns of Nature, the cyclical movement of stars and planets also influence our lives on the macro and micro levels. Yes, I am talking about astrology again, and how the confluence of all things in the natural order affect our health and well-being. continue reading
LISTEN to Live in Alignment
Every life is an unprecedented experiment. This life is mine alone.
So I have stopped asking people for directions to places they’ve never been.
There is no map. We are all pioneers.

Greetings to all my precious people!!
The month of May has graced us with warmer temperatures and sunny skies that break through the clouds after misty mornings filled with birdsongs and bunnies. There is a great amount of exuberance in Nature, as well as in the Universe with planetary shifts and alignments happening according to their cyclical journeys. Qi – the vital life force that flows through each of us – also animates the earth and the cosmos. Seasons change, but the cyclical Qi movement within those seasons remains the same. By understanding patterns within the environment and individuals, Chinese Medicine helps to promote harmony and balance for optimal health and well-being. continue reading
When the Body Says NO
It is always important to know when something has reached its end. Closing circles, shutting doors, finishing chapters, it doesn’t matter what we call it; what matters is to leave in the past those moments in life that are over.
~~Paulo Coelho
Greetings to all my precious people!!
We are in the midst of restore and release, aligning our focus to Spring – the time of renewal. Are you feeling the energetics yet? The urge to purge, the desire to rearrange things, the need to finally tend to the stuff that has been piling up in the land of “someday.” Many times these prompts for change are signaled by the body speaking its language with emotions and physical sensations that beg to be acknowledged. But more often than not, the feelings and bodily twinges become those darned symptoms that annoy or irritate us. They interrupt our plans, invade our thoughts and present a choice point for us – to listen more attentively, or to disregard and put aside until “later.” continue reading
