FREE PHONE CONSULTATION – 15 minutes

All prospective patients have the opportunity to consult with the doctor prior to making an appointment.  This 15-minute consultation is free of charge.  During this phone conversation, you are able to discuss your case with the doctor.  This is to ensure you are a good candidate for treatment at the clinic and that you are familiar and comfortable with our philosophy and program.  At the conclusion of your free consultation, you will have the opportunity to schedule your full intake appointment.

At your intake, and after you submit new patient paperwork, the doctor will go over your case and review your medical history in detail, develop a comprehensive treatment plan, and administer your acupuncture treatment. Once you submit your consultation request, we’ll typically contact you on the same day to schedule a phone conversation during working hours of Monday through Friday.

INSURANCE COVERAGE

Touchstone Acupuncture PLLC is not in-network with any insurance company and we do not bill insurance. However, many of our patients are able to be reimbursed for our services by submitting a “superbill”, and invoice with specific insurance coding, to their insurance provider.

To find out about your covered benefits, call the patient number on the back of your card and ask:

  • Do I have out-of-network coverage for acupuncture?
  • What percentage of the visit is covered?
  • Is there a limit to how many visits per year?
  • Do I have an out-of-network deductible to meet?
  • What diagnoses are covered?
  • How do I submit super-bills?

We encourage you to use your flexible spending and health savings account debit cards for our services—these pretax accounts provided by some insurance companies are a great way to offset the cost of your out-of-pocket health care costs.

CANCELLATION POLICY

Please provide us with at least 24 hours notice if you need to cancel your appointment. This allows us time to offer the appointment slot to another patient on the waiting list. With the exception of illness or emergency, no-shows and appointments canceled within 24 hours will be charged in full for the appointment. Thank you for your consideration and mindfulness – our community thanks you!
