PATIENTS ARE SEEN BY APPOINTMENT ONLY

 

FREE PHONE CONSULTATION – 15 minutes

All prospective patients have the opportunity to consult with the doctor prior to making an appointment.  This 15-minute consultation is free of charge.  During this phone conversation, you are able to discuss your case with the doctor.  This is to ensure you are a good candidate for treatment at the clinic and that you are familiar and comfortable with our philosophy and program.  At the conclusion of your free consultation, you will have the opportunity to schedule your full intake appointment.

At your intake, and after you submit new patient paperwork, the doctor will go over your case and review medical history in detail, develop a comprehensive treatment plan, and administer your acupuncture treatment. Once you submit your consultation request, we’ll typically contact you on the same day to schedule a phone conversation during the working hours of Monday through Friday.

 

INSURANCE BILLING

Touchstone Acupuncture does not participate with any health insurance providers.  Your insurance policy is a contract between you and your insurance company. We are not a party to that contract and you are responsible for the charges billed as payment is due at the time of service.

We do not accept assignment of benefits from your insurance company.  However, you may file a claim yourself with the receipts we provide to you. Please let us know so we may assist you with the appropriate diagnostic and procedure codes.

If your insurance plan includes out-of-network benefits, you may be able to be reimbursed a percentage after your deductible has been met.  We will give you a receipt for services that can be submitted to your carrier.  Health Savings Accounts (HSA) and FLEX savings accounts can also be used for payment of services.

 

CANCELLATION POLICY

Touchstone Acupuncture maintains a 24-hour advance notice cancellation policy.  Patients will be financially responsible for the appointment fee for any missed appointments or non-emergency late cancellations.
