Finding Your Voice

“There is no greater agony than
bearing an untold story inside you.”
~~ Maya Angelou
Greetings to all my precious people!
Last month on Mother’s Day, I wrote about the first voice you ever heard: your mother’s voice.
Today, I’m writing about the voice she gave you. Not just the sound of your voice (though that’s part of it). But the POWER of your voice. The capacity to name what you see, speak what you know, call things by their true names, say NO and mean it, say YES and claim it, take up sonic space in the world.
Your mother gave you this. Through her body. Through her voice teaching you language. Through the vocal cords she grew inside you.
And then—over years of conditioning—you learned to silence it. continue reading
The Quiet Beneath the Noise

“I have arrived, I am home.”
~~ Thich Nhat Hanh
Greetings to all my precious people!!
We have cleared physical space. We have released ancestral patterns.
Now we arrive at the most persistent layer of homecoming: the mental clutter.
The planning. The strategizing. The constant need to figure it out, know what’s next, have all the answers. The 3am thought loops. The voice that says you’re not doing enough, being enough, achieving enough.
The noise.
We live in a culture designed to keep you mentally occupied. Distracted. Scrolling. Consuming information. Comparing. Planning. Optimizing.
But your soul is trying to speak. And it can’t be heard over the noise.
This week, as we approach Thanksgiving in the US – a time traditionally about gratitude and gathering – I want to invite you into something countercultural:
The practice of sacred not-knowing. Of creating mental space. Of coming home to the quiet.
Trust & Truth: The Integration Practice

“Your task is not to seek for love,
but merely to seek and find all the barriers
within yourself that you have built against it.”
~~ Rumi
Greetings to all my precious people!!
We’ve completed an extraordinary journey together. From kindness as embodied healing through awakening, grace, contribution, joy, possibility, resilience, remembering ancient wisdom, self-compassion, and surrender—we arrive at the integration point: TRUST & TRUTH.
Not the small truths of personal preference or opinion. Not the rigid truths that exclude complexity and paradox. But the living truth of who you’ve become through this journey—and the radical trust required to offer that authentic medicine to a world that needs exactly what you’ve learned to give.
This is where everything comes together: trusting your healing journey enough to live your truth out loud.
REMEMBER: Ancient Wisdom for Modern Healing

“If you want to go fast, go alone. If you want to go far, go together.”
~~ African Proverb
Greetings to all my precious people!!
We’ve journeyed through kindness as embodied healing, awakened to kindfulness, discovered grace through gratitude, explored contribution as medicine, found joy in service, expanded our vision of midlife possibility, and redefined resilience as community strength. This week, we turn to something our individualistic culture has almost forgotten: REMEMBER.
