About Us

Kathy Casey, L.Ac.


Kathy graduated from Pacific College of Oriental Medicine/NYC, an esteemed academic leader providing comprehensive instruction in both Chinese and Western Medicine. She earned her Master of Science in Traditional Oriental Medicine (MSTOM) after completing 4 years and 4,050 hours of combined classroom study and supervised clinical rotations while treating over 300 patients.

Kathy is a Licensed Acupuncturist (L.Ac.) in New York and Connecticut and is nationally board certified in Oriental Medicine (Diplomate Oriental Medicine – Dipl. OM) by the National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (NCCAOM).

A trained Acudetox Specialist, Kathy uses acupuncture to support behavioral health, including chemical dependencies, addictive behaviors, mental health, as well as treat disaster and emotional trauma. Kathy’s training and experience also include over 20 years using Hypnotherapy and Therapeutic Touch as healing modalities for Hospice patient care as well as patient wellness support.

While Kathy maintains a general practice and treats a wide variety of syndromes and complaints, she has a special interest in women’s health, geriatric wellness, stress management and mental and emotional health. Kathy’s passion for the ancient healing arts sustains her patient-centered clinical practice focused on recovering health and maintaining wellness with preventative care.
