Tomato Toast Recipe

A variation on avocado toast… How about tomato toast? Tasty tomato on toasted sourdough topped with terrific burrata and tangy pesto.

Makes: 1 portion / Prep time: 5 min



What you’ll need:

1 slice of sourdough bread

A small handful of arugula

½ ball of burrata

3 sun-dried tomatoes in oil, drained and cut in half

1 heaping teaspoon good-quality pesto

½ tablespoon olive oil

Salt and pepper to taste


How to make it:

  • Toast the slice of sourdough bread, place it on a plate, and drizzle with the olive oil.
  • Top with the arugula, burrata, and halved sun-dried tomatoes and drizzle with the basil pesto.
  • Season with salt and pepper and eat immediately.
